There is an important change in the coming month:
Mobypicture is about to phase out the http://mobypicture.com/?123456 url and replacing it with http://moby.to/123456 (we gain 9 characters! about 30%)
New API features
Furthermore there are some new and exciting features to the API, which you can use in your applications/sites.
1. commenting: You are able to place comments and grab them using the API. For Twitter clients this means you can also post the @replies to a certain posting back to Moby, which is of course nice for the users… If you’re building widgets, this means you can add some interactive functionality.
2. GetMediaInfo: we added amount of views and amount of comments.
3. GetUser: get useful information about any user.

App store
We’re also about to launch the Mobypicture App ’store’ – here, all applications and sites, using Moby can present itself to the users.
You can upload screenshots, descriptions and add a link to your website/store page.
We will start featuring applications on the homepage.
