This week Mobypicture launched the new redesigned website, adding many new features and optimizing the performance.
The whole website runs on Amazon Web Services. (S3 and Cloudfront). This helps us a lot with scaling and capacity.
The launch of the platform is the first step towards Moby 2.0, the version we will launch in February which adds many, many platforms and will have a lot of surprises and sophisticated connections.
We’re also really proud the Mobypicture iPhone App version 1.0 was finally accepted and released in the Apple iTunes Stores.

Joris Kluivers of Tarento did a great job and was persistent to get this first version in the store. We had a good meeting this week about the next version, which will have a lot more features. Please download it and put up a good review!
The Mobypicture API is also greatly enhanced this week. We’ve added the possibility to also add location, tags, hashtags and define to which services you want the posting to be published. Also the GET options are more sophisticated now. The new version of the API is of course also downwards compatible so all services will still be working!
If you want to get your own dev key, please contact me on twitter or via mail.
Please send us all your feedback on the new developments using http://moby.uservoice.com, our feedback platform…
And please, if you like the progress, write up a blogpost or tweet about it! Growing our user base will help building a sustainable Moblogging platform for you to use.
