Tomorrow in Enschede the TMF awards, the dutch version of the MTV awards.
Together with MTV networks Mobypicture has launched a MobyNow platform especially for this event.
The MobyNow platform aggregates all the social media content of:
- performing artists (30 popular national and international bands, musicians and dj’s incl. Taio Cruz, 30 seconds to Mars and many more)
- the three TMF VJs (Veronica, Sascha and Tess)
- the TMF crew
- all the fans!
- and the press
Some new features are:
The list of Members – This makes browsing and discovery pretty easy. You can find all TMF awards related postings of any particular user just from selecting him/her from the list.
The Backchannel – any user can launch a live backchannel for the specific MobyNow platform. This backchannel will show all aggregated social media content, infographics, stats and of course all Mobypictures.
Popular blogposts – we are experimenting with technology which defines which blogposts people tweet about, and based on the popularity of the persons tweeting and the amount of mentions assembles a list of importancy. This can be very powerful for content discovery.
Blog integration for users – The listed users can add their blogposts to the platform automatically. The user can define the location of the RSS feed of his/her blog and we then also aggregate that.
